Inauguration of Super Computer Facility at GSFC University

GSFC University has established a Supercomputer facility

Computer Science and Engineering, School of Technology, GSFC University has established a Supercomputer facility with DLGPU supercomputer for the students and academic researchers for conducting research and advanced computing studies in the field of High-Performance Computing. This facility known as PARAM SHAVAK DL-GPU is setup with the support of Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat.

Dr Nikhil Zaveri, Provost, GSFC University received ‘PARAM SHAVAK DL-GPU system’ during Vibrant Startup and Technology Summit, 2019 organised by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat.

Shri P. K. Taneja, President, GSFC University inaugurated supercomputer lab facility on 25th Jan 2020 for promoting the research using modelling, simulation and data analysis. It will also help to create a pool of skilled professionals working in high-performance computing and Data Science thereby creating employment opportunities for students in R & D Organisations and Industry.
