Invitation for “Student Orientation Program – Academic Year 2018-19”

GSFC University cordially invites you for “Student Orientation Program – Academic Year 2018-19” on July 21, 2018. Details are given herein below as Annexure - 1.


This Orientation Program will help you to learn about University Campus, rules and regulations of University. You will also have opportunity to meet faculty and management personnel. For more information, please see the details in the enclosed document.
 

To help us plan logistic arrangements, please fill in the registration form herein below (refer Annexure –2) and return it to University Office by July 20, 2018 either by hand or by email to : admission@gsfcuniversity.ac.in


Students are required to be present in formal dress and bring the following for submission,

  • 6 copies of their passport size colour photographs

  •  Original Aadhar Card and 3 photocopies.

  • Original bank account documents with 2 copies

  • Copy of 12th Mark-sheet

  • Copy of School Leaving Certificate

  • PRN Number (which is mentioned on fee receipt)

  • Details of Medical Insurance, if any.

Also arrangements will be made for students,

  • To apply for University ID card and Library access

  • To open a bank account with the bank, to facilitate financial transaction with university, if

  • students do not have any bank account in their name

  • To apply for Educational funding, if needed by students

  • To complete hostel formalities, if required by student

  • To complete joining formalities for use of Sports Facilities

  • To submit their medical insurance papers or purchase medical insurance. This is essential.

Please note that all students are required to attend this program (attendance will be marked). A number of Help and Information desks will be set-up for you. Please take full advantage of available information resources (details are in Annexure – 3). These will be functional from 01:00 PM onwards on July 21, 2018.
Students are kindly requested to fill up the two forms regarding Anti Ragging (Annexure – 4 ) and submit the same (Hard copies) to a Help desk on Second Floor - SoT.( Please refer UGC REGULATIONS ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, 2009) and submit to ID card Desk.
